Test and Lab automation engineer (m/f/d, 60-100%)

Your mission
•    Contribute to the development of cutting-edge industry-facing research projects in the biomedical and pharmaceutical area
•    Contribute to performing experiments with optical and fluidic systems
•    Work on different projects and at the interface with other functions
•    Connect and drive various photonic and fluidic components using LabVIEW for Laser-based analysis of evolving experimental platforms
•    Efficiently develop user interfaces and automated functions
•    Documentation of Code, e.g.  using GitHub
•    Document activities and report protocols and findings
•    Plan, build and operate development and IV&V test assemblies
Your profile
•    B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechatronics, electrical engineering, robotics, or related disciplines
•    Experience in conducting experiments, e.g. with optical systems
•    Experience in the design & development of experimental protocols
•    Relevant experience in automation software tools
•    Experience in software automation using LabVIEW and Python
•    Team player and ability to integrate into a highly interdisciplinary and dynamic team, and work closely with life science experts
•    Proven track record in analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Fluent in English (German is a plus), with strong writing and communication skills
•    You would work side-by-side with technologists at Spiden with a job occupancy to be commonly agreed upon on
•    Knowledge of the Delacor Queued Message Handler (DQMH®) LabVIEW tool is a plus
•    Experience in working on regulated medical devices (FDA and ISO 13485) is a plus
